# Linux App Installation

So installieren Sie die PASCOM App auf Ubuntu Linux

## Unsere Empfehlung: PASCOM Web App

{% hint style="info" %}
{% endhint %}

```bash
cat <<EOF | sudo tee /etc/udev/rules.d/99-PASCOM-HID.rules > /dev/null
# Jabra Headset Support
ATTRS{idVendor}=="0b0e", MODE="0666"
# Sennheiser Headset Support
ATTRS{idVendor}=="1395", MODE="0666"
# Yealink Headset Support
ATTRS{idVendor}=="6993", MODE="0666"
# Kuando Busylight 1
SUBSYSTEM=="hidraw", ATTRS{idVendor}=="04d8", MODE="0666"
# Kuando Busylight 2
SUBSYSTEM=="hidraw", ATTRS{idVendor}=="27bb", MODE="0666"
EOF
sudo udevadm control --reload-rules && sudo udevadm trigger
```

***

## Klassische Installation

1. [Linux Desktop App](https://my.pascom.net/update/client/cloud/linux) herunterladen
2. **pascom\_Client.tar.bz2** im Home-Directory entpacken
3. Ubuntu Application Icon mit **create-starter.sh** erstellen
4. PASCOM App über das Application Icon starten

Beispiel

```
tar jxvf ./Downloads/pascom_Client-7.17.10.R.tar.bz2
./pascom_Client/create-starter.sh
```

```
sudo apt install libxcb-cursor-dev
```

#### Ubuntu 24.04 Audio

Wenn Sie Ubuntu 24.04 LTS verwenden, müssen Sie die folgenden zusätzlichen Bibliotheken installieren, damit Audio funktioniert:

```
apt install libasound2-plugins
```

#### Ubuntu 22.04 Audio

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.pascom.net/operations/clients/linux-installation.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `build a script that syncs our docs to a CMS` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
